Delete Your Account

In the app

Open EcoVigyan or EcoVigyan Lite → Profile → Delete my account, then confirm. This is immediate and does not require contacting support.

What gets deleted, and when

Deletion is immediate — everything below is removed from our systems as soon as you confirm, with no retention period afterward:

Your profile: name, username, email address, and points
Every mushroom sighting you submitted, including the photo files themselves
Your points history

This is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleted data is not used for any further purpose; a copy may persist briefly in routine database backups before it is cycled out, but is never restored to service.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email ecovigyanfoundation@gmail.com from the address on your account and request deletion. We'll confirm once it's done.
